Rental Manager

Our client has a great opportunity to join their Volvo franchised dealership in North London as their new Rental Manager. With a fantastic salary of up to GBP 40,000 OTE you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient administration and marketing of the rental department, effectively managing and supporting all internal departments with the flow of communication, vehicle movement and provision of rental vehicles as necessary.
Principle Accountabilities of the Rental Manager role:
* To liaise with business and private clients, establishing their vehicle requirements and delivering great service
* To operate within established KPI's, budgets & compliance criteria
* The achievement or overachievement of revenue targets
* Complete Funding Audits
* To complete all monthly invoicing requirements relating to rentals, recharges and rental fleet repairs / Guaranteeing log t/over matched invoiced turnover
* To continue to build the current rental database by adding new retail and corporate revenue clients
* To assist the Corporate Sales Department with any cover for both annual leave and colleague absence in respect to systems and vehicle delivery requirements
* To provide data input to sales and service departments as necessary
* To carry out any further duties within your capabilities when requested by the group management
* To comply with all the Quality Standards agreed within the Company and to have personal responsibilities for the dealership's established Policy and Procedures
* To achieve 100% monthly invoiced revenue versus our rental log revenue including deposits and customer recharges
* To update and maintain rental turnover logs weekly and submit to your Line Manager
* To Identify and contact Corporate and Retail Clients to promote VCL rental
* To maintain the departments (RIVAL) Insurance Database and relationship with their Account Manager to include Quarterly Reviews (Line Manager and Director to attend)

* Operating knowledge of Kerridge System- Essential for invoicing and fleet administration
* Microsoft proficient in Excel and Word- Essential
* Rental Insurance platform experience- Desirable
